All materials have strengths and weaknesses. Understanding them allows you to transform them by the optimal method. Each class has a variety of projects to accomplish. All projects start from a basic level and become more complex throughout the course, allowing everyone to follow along and achieve highly skilled tasks. The tips you acquire from the instructors will help you expand your manufacturing capabilities. The idea is to transition from HOW to manufacture towards WHAT to manufacture.

ELECTROPROPULSION

PROJECT:  “GENESIS”  (G-1)

An electric vehicle prototype designed, manufactured and assembled by EP students.  Every student takes part in the development process and work as a team with the following parameters as objective:

  - CAPACITY: 2 people.

  - SPEED: OVER 200km/h.

  - WEIGHT: <300Kg.

  - RANGE: 500Km.

SUSTAINABLE ENERGY

PROJECT : “SELFPOWER”

The design of a self -sufficient home, with the objective to maximize the energy efficiency, with reliable components for each system. Designed, manufactured and installed by SE students.

  - PV System (Photovoltaic Power).

  - TSP System (Thermal Solar      Panel).

  - SAH System (Solar Air Heating).

  -  Evaporative cooling.

  -  Inverter AC cooling.

ROBOTICS

PROJECT: “EVA”

A robot with artificial intelligence. Designed, manufactured and installed by robotics students to solve human needs implementing capabilities in:

  - Mechanical Mobility.

  - Object Detection.

  - Object Recognition.

  - Face Recognition.

  - Voice Command.

  - Conditional Decision Taking.

  - Remote Communication.

  - Cumulative Learning.

DESIGN

PROJECT:  “MAKE IT”

A creative platform, composed by design students who materialize ideas from conceptual proposals to physical presentations.  Students aim is to represent products, services and entities with their goals being:

  - Quality

  - Service

  - Cost

  - Genuine

  - Eye Catching

  - Renovated

   - Accurate

  - Functional

  - Available

The theory put into practice…

LAB TIME!

Will you choose a manufacturing process or create one?

Focus on the final product. Choose the ideal materials to compose the product. Select the manufacturing process. Make use of tools that assure a professional finish. Monitor the parameters of each step. Understand the necessary adjustments to be made as a preventive action. Determine solution paths to improve the product qualities.

projects develop skills and self awareness of sudent progress.
